Her mother was the deceased potter Clara Suazo and her brother is Ron Suazo, the fine maker of sgrafitto-style pottery. Margaret is married to Wilfred Garcia who has been Governor of San Juan Pueblo several times. Margaret would seem to have the northernTewa Pueblos covered in that she is a Santa Clara woman married to a San Juan man and she pots in the San Ildefonso style.
