Jane Baca and Starr Tafoya are mother and daughter who have potted together for many years. Jane actually has been potting since 1935 as she was born in 1919!

They typically make wedding vases, a small number of pots and animal figures. They have won numerous awards at Santa Fe Indian Market in the 25 years they have exhibited together there.

Jane is the sister of famed Santa Clara painter Pablita Velarde.
