Diane Lewis is a member of one of the two non-related Lewis families at Acoma Pueblo. While the Lucy Lewis family is better known, the children of Katherine Lewis (Marilyn Henderson Ray, Rebecca Lucario, Bernard and Sharon Lewis, Carolyn Concho, Judy Lewis and Diane Lewis) produce some of the finest pottery done at Acoma today. Each sibling has carved out their own niche and Diane's is seedpots with abundant use of natural colors. Her designs are more dense and colorful than those of her sisters.
